Class Offerings

At ORLC Preschool, we provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. Our focus is on fostering socialization, basic communication skills, and early cognitive development. Through play-based learning, interactive games, art and craft activities, simple stories, and music, we aim to stimulate creativity and motor skills in children.

  • Focus: Building upon the foundational skills developed in the 3-year-old program, with an added focus on early literacy and numeracy.

  • Activities: More structured learning experiences, introduction to letters and numbers, pre-writing skills, group activities, and thematic units to enhance knowledge in various subjects.

  • Goals: Preparing children for kindergarten by enhancing language skills, introducing basic math concepts, and further developing social and emotional competence.

Transitional K

  • Focus: Bridging the gap between preschool and traditional kindergarten, this program is designed for children who may benefit from an additional year before entering kindergarten.

  • Activities: A more structured curriculum, introduction to formal learning, early literacy and math activities, science exploration, and continued emphasis on social skills.

  • Goals: Providing a smoother transition to kindergarten by further developing academic readiness, fine and gross motor skills, and fostering social and emotional maturity.
